About us

Electronics Club, IIT Kanpur is a community of passionate individuals dedicated to exploring and innovating in the world of electronics and embedded systems. Established with the aim of fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for electronics among students, the club serves as a hub for hands-on learning, collaborative projects, and cutting-edge research.

At the Electronics Club, we believe in the power of practical experience. We provide a platform for students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios through workshops, projects, and competitions. From designing simple circuits to building complex systems, our activities span a wide spectrum, catering to beginners and advanced enthusiasts alike.

The club regularly organizes workshops, lectures, and hackathons, bringing together experts from academia and industry to share insights and inspire innovation. In recent years, we’ve expanded our horizons by partnering with startups, providing students with opportunities to work on industry-level projects, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to real-world solutions.

The major domains we focus on include Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), Analog Electronics, and Computer Vision. We recently expanded our expertise to include Digital Electronics. Over the past few years, our members have successfully undertaken and completed a variety of innovative projects across these domains in the form of Summer Projects and Semester Long Projects.
